Marc Tadaki

I am a geographer interested in understanding the ways in which local contexts and environments shape the implementation of national environmental policy. In my PhD work I am examining the roll-out of freshwater planning reforms in New Zealand, looking to describe and explain regional differences in implementation outcomes. I am also interested in understanding how social power is enacted through environmental valuation methodologies.
