I’m a visiting scholar and adjunct professor at IRES, and a research scientist with the Conservation Science Program of WWF-US. I hold a PhD from the University of Alberta and BSc / MSc degrees from McGill University. My research interests encompass topics in both the natural and social sciences, including the economic costs and benefits of nature conservation, ecosystem services, landscape ecology, and wildlife ecology. Currently a significant part of my time is spent with WWF’s Namibia program, where I work on a variety of research projects in conjunction with partners in the country’s highly successful Community-Based Natural Resource Management program.
